Please read these terms carefully before submitting an enquiry or registering for a Roundkin workshop. By using this website or attending a session, you agree to these terms. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected] before proceeding.
1. About Roundkin
Roundkin is a workshop provider based at 33 Lebuh Bishop, 10200 George Town, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. We offer educational sessions focused on household communication skills and document organisation. We operate under Malaysian law.
Our services are educational and administrative in nature. Roundkin does not provide professional advice of any kind — including financial, legal, or personal advice — and nothing communicated during a workshop or through this website should be understood as such.
2. Use of This Website
This website is provided for informational purposes and to allow you to enquire about our workshops. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not interfere with its operation or the experience of other users.
You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of this website, submit false or misleading information through the contact form, or use the site in any way that could cause damage or disruption.
We may update, modify, or withdraw any part of this website at any time without notice.
3. Workshop Enrolment and Bookings
Workshop places are allocated upon receipt of your completed enquiry and confirmation of availability. A booking is confirmed only once we have responded in writing (by email) to confirm your place and session date.
Roundkin reserves the right to decline any enquiry or registration without being required to provide a reason.
Workshop dates, times, and formats are subject to change. We will notify registered participants as early as possible of any changes to scheduled sessions.
4. Fees and Payment
Workshop fees are as published on this website at the time of your enquiry. Fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of all session materials unless otherwise noted.
- Household Conversation Workshop: RM 530 per participant
- Family Reference Binder Session: RM 1,550 per household
- Family Records Programme: RM 4,200 per household
Payment terms and accepted methods will be confirmed at the time of booking. Fees are due in full before the first session begins unless a separate written arrangement has been agreed.
Roundkin may update its fees from time to time. Any fee change will not affect confirmed bookings for which a fee has already been agreed in writing.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed workshop place, please notify us as early as possible by contacting [email protected] or calling +60 4 2618 5473.
Cancellation terms:
- Cancellations made 7 or more days before the workshop date: full refund or transfer to a future date at no charge.
- Cancellations made 3–6 days before the workshop date: transfer to a future date at no charge; refunds at our discretion.
- Cancellations made fewer than 3 days before the workshop date: no refund; transfer to a future date subject to availability and an administrative fee.
For multi-session programmes (the Family Records Programme), cancellation terms apply to the programme as a whole. We will not offer partial refunds for sessions already completed.
If Roundkin cancels or reschedules a session due to circumstances on our side, we will offer a full refund or a transfer to an alternative date.
6. Educational Scope of Workshops
All Roundkin workshops are designed as educational and organisational sessions. They are structured to help households improve communication practices and manage shared documents more clearly.
Roundkin facilitators do not provide opinions or recommendations on specific household decisions, asset arrangements, interpersonal disputes, or any matters that would require professional qualification to advise upon. Participants are responsible for any decisions they make following a workshop.
If you require professional guidance on financial, legal, or personal matters, we encourage you to consult the appropriate qualified professional independently.
7. Participant Conduct
We ask that all participants engage in workshops respectfully and constructively. Roundkin reserves the right to ask any participant to leave a session if their conduct is disruptive, offensive, or inconsistent with the collaborative nature of the programme.
Where a participant is asked to leave a session due to conduct concerns, fees will not be refunded.
8. Intellectual Property
All materials provided during workshops — including printed prompt decks, binder templates, agenda frameworks, and handbooks — are produced by Roundkin and are provided for your personal household use only.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or make available Roundkin workshop materials to others, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes, without our prior written consent.
All content on this website, including text, layout, and design, is the property of Roundkin or its content contributors and may not be reproduced without permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Roundkin will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from your use of this website or attendance at a workshop. This includes decisions made by participants following a session.
Our total liability to you in connection with any workshop or use of this website will not exceed the fees paid by you for that specific session.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other matter that cannot be limited under Malaysian law.
10. Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. By submitting an enquiry or registering for a workshop, you confirm that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
